1. GIVE YOUR NAME, GRADE, AND NOVEL TITLE. Think about the characters in your novel. Which character would you pick to be? Give a specific reason related to the story as to why you would choose this character. Be brief. (Example: I would choose to be Lucy in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe of the The Chronicles of Narnia Series. Lucy is a girl warrior and a good one! I would enjoy being that character and defending good against evil. It would be awesome to work with Aslan.) 2. GIVE YOUR NAME, GRADE, AND NOVEL TITLE. What genre do you consider your novel to be? Justify with supporting facts from your novel. (Example: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is FANTASY. Trees don’t really talk and there are no half goat-half man creatures called fauns.) 3. GIVE YOUR NAME, GRADE, AND NOVEL TITLE. How “old” is your novel? (Hint-Give the Original Copyright Date) Are you older or younger than the original copyright date and by how many years? What is the name of the Publishing Company and where was your book Published? What is the ISBN of your book? Why is that number important? (**Locate this information on the “Verso Page” at the beginning of the novel. The “Verso Page” is the backside of the Title Page.) (Example: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is 58 years old. The original copyright date is 1950. My novel and I are the same age. The Publishing Company is Scholastic, Inc. The book was published in New York, NY. The ISBN number is 0590254766. Every book has its very own ISBN number. It is used as a search keyword for locating information about this book.
